My interest in motor racing of all kinds comes from my parents: They would regularly wake me for the Australian and Japanese Grand Prix at 02:00 back in England, at my request, and watching the Formula One races every couple of weeks was a family tradition.

I usually favored the British drivers, and obviously followed Nigel "Red 5" Mansell and Damon Hill to their World Championships, but when Mansell moved over to IndyCar in 1993, I then discovered racing outside of Formula One as well.

I now live fairly close to Indianapolis, and hope to make attending races there a new family tradition...
